yeah i have one mounted on the cross bar of the frame, directly behind the vents. works great! looks even better. lol im dying to ride, its been a week.

i changed my bolts simple nut and bolt on it now.

didn't trust the stock nuts and screws.

i got my maier race hood for $40.00

i mounted my light under the hood at the vent. i'll post a pic here soon of it with the light in it.

but mthey can also be nounted on the handlebars, and down behind the front bumper.

have you had any problems with the two bolts that hold the hood on? the two nearest the bars, they are like little rubber covered nuts that are supposed to keep it on, i was riding yesterday and the slipped right through the hole, thankfully it didnt break the hood, im going to use a regular bult with washers after that.

okay so heres a question. how much was that hood and where can i get one??? who needs a light anywyas. if anything i can mount some further in on the frame. that looks BA with that hood.
